Enhanced Security Measures
Konica Minolta has introduced an enhanced firmware update for the bizhub i-Series, offering greater protection against malicious activity. This update improves transparency and provides detailed information on security-related topics, ensuring individuals remain vigilant and proactive in the face of potential risks.
The bizhub SECURE services offer a full suite of security features, including the Bitdefender® anti-virus engine, designed to safeguard your organisation from malware infections. For organisations choosing Bitdefender protection, additional security layers prevent malware from spreading to other networked devices and protect against corporate data loss. In the event of a threat, the anti-virus alerts the IT administrator with detailed information about the threat’s type and origin. End-users can also monitor the current anti-virus status directly from the home screen.
Improved Ease of Use
The 10.1-inch colour touchscreen offers a user-friendly interface like that of smartphones or tablets, presenting all the primary settings to make the copying easier. Features that previously required downloading from the MarketPlace are now built in, offering enhanced accessibility to users.
Each new bizhub i-Series model features a more user-friendly interface. Useful applications have been organised into a new “Useful Apps” folder on the home screen, and users can customise their layout by grouping apps using Drag & Drop, mirroring smartphone functionality.
The new models also simplify the login process for customers using Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Entra ID) or Google Workspace, allowing single sign-on (SSO) access to their files or folders.
By integrating up to four trays (or three for A4 devices), you can enhance paper capacity, accommodate a more diverse range of media in a single print job and minimise the need to replenish media as often. The “Automatic Media Detection” function, with its built-in media sensor, is capable of recognising the weight and type of paper, guaranteeing the appropriate settings are used.

Energy-saving settings and low Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) values ensure that the bizhub i-Series devices use minimal power, significantly reducing energy consumption and lowering utility costs.
